I/GCSE

International/General Certificate of Secondary Education (I/GCSE)

The International / General Certificate of Secondary Education (I/GCSE) curriculum is taught in YEAR 11 and YEAR 12.

It allows students the flexibility to do arts subjects alongside with science subjects. Students who take the standard 2-year I/GCSE programmes normally study seven to ten subjects.

Passing grades are 9 to 4 (or grade A*-C in the old grading scale) and students are expected to gain a minimum of 5 passes at grade 4 to qualify for I/GCSE examinations.

    Edexcel's I/GCSE is designed specifically for international students and covers independent schools in more than 80 countries around the world, as well as in the UK.

  • Oxford AQA

    The Oxford AQA Examinations Board is a joint venture between the AQA Examinations Board and Oxford University Press. AQA Oxford offers international GCSE and A-level courses for students from outside the UK.
