Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement (AP) is a college-level course offered by the College Board at the high school level, which is mainly suitable for high school students who plan to study in the United States, and can be taught all over the world (including the United States).
There are 38 AP courses in 7 categories: Arts, English, History and Social Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science, Natural Sciences, World Languages and Literatures, and Capstone Diploma Programs.
AP courses that pass the exam can be deducted from college credits, reduce college courses, help students shorten college hours, skip grades, and save high college tuition.

The average AP course score can increase the GPA by 0.1 points. And GPA is the first consideration when admitting students to top American universities.
More than 90% of colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada accept AP exams and award college credit. Any AP course taken by a Chinese student may be converted to three to six credits, or $3,000 to $6,000, when they arrive in the United States
The difficulty of AP courses can be comparable to that of college courses, so that leading universities can fully judge and be confident that students are fully prepared and successful in the course they choose for their future professional development.
